We began combining Italian ingenuity with southern hospitality more than three decades ago when the late Ed Wettach purchased Ferrari South in Jackson, Mississippi. Ten years later, Ed partnered with longtime car enthusiast Hugh Steward to acquire FAF Motors. With this acquisition, they evolved the exclusive Ferrari dealer into Ferrari, Maserati, Aston Martin of Atlanta.
The success Ed and Hugh created over the decades was founded in a deep passion for Italian automotive excellence and a love for people. It’s that mindset that guided the business in 2008 to bring a like-minded Will Campbell to Atlanta to serve as General Manager, continuing the unique people-first approach. After Ed’s passing in 2013, his sons, Webb and Eddie, joined Will to continue the tradition as Ferrari Maserati of Atlanta.
Officine Alfieri Maserati was founded on December 1, 1914, in Bologna, Italy. Since then, Maserati has played a consistently leading role in the development of the sports car and its culture. More than a century of activity has brought with it glorious achievements, both on the road and the track, as well as more challenging times, which have helped forge the company’s character and personality.
However, the history of Maserati involves more than its glorious sporting achievements and the launch of great road cars. The company has also developed industrially over the years. Its relocation from Bologna to the current site in Viale Ciro Menotti, Modena, in 1940, is one of the main events in its history.
But even today, its worldwide reach emanates from its historic Maserati headquarters. Maserati is now a global brand operating in more than 70 markets. Uniquely, Maserati has succeeded in embodying within its cars both heritage and innovation, memory and vision, the past and the future. Its heart may be in its Italian roots, but its eyes are firmly focused on the future.
Today, Maserati pride is reflected in the values that define the marque. In this section, you can relive Maserati’s enthralling history and get to know the people, achievements and cars that have made the brand famous.
Webb’s definition of Italian ingenuity and southern hospitality is simple, "The moment you step into Maserati of Atlanta, you become a member of the family because you share the same passion about these iconic brands that we do. And we have been very blessed to have a caring, knowledgeable staff that are eager to share their years of luxury car experience with you. That's what sets us apart from the others. That's why we have such loyal customers." As the stepson of Edward Wettach III, one of the founders of Ferrari Maserati of Atlanta, Webb grew up watching and working alongside his stepfather at Ferrari South in Mississippi and later in Atlanta. Having been immersed in the culture of fine Italian automobiles since 1983, Webb has a deep understanding of the heritage, craftsmanship, and performance of these Italian works of art. He has toured the factories in Italy, attended numerous Ferrari National Meets, Ferrari Challenge races, Formula 1 races, new car launches, and car shows throughout his career. But along the way, one thing Webb learned from Ed is how to treat our clients with superior personal service.
Will grew up around automobiles, but his love for Italian auto innovation was sparked at seven years old. As Will was helping sweep the floors of his local Texaco station, he saw his first Ferrari, a Daytona Spyder. That’s when a true love affair with Italian automotive ingenuity began. Today, as General Manager, Will brings his relentless work ethic and love of Italian innovation to Ferrari Maserati of Atlanta. Will takes tremendous pride in continuing the values of honesty and exceptional personal service instilled by Ed Wettach. It's a mindset and legacy you can feel the moment you step through the doors, whether you're an enthusiast spending the afternoon enjoying these fantastic automobiles or a customer shopping for your dream car.
As a teenager, Craig would drag his parents to FAF Motorsports to check out the latest inventory and chat with the staff. A few years later, after earning his undergraduate degree from Auburn University, Craig followed his love for automobiles and took a summer job at a local Infiniti, Audi, Rolls Royce, and Bentley dealership. In 1999, he took a position as National Sales Manager for Panoz Auto Development in Braselton, GA, but no matter where he worked, he would always feel the pull of his love for Italian automotive ingenuity. So, in 2003, Craig followed his passions and joined the Maserati of Atlanta family. Craig truly enjoys working with his customers to match them with their ideal automobile, but it's also the things Maserati of Atlanta does outside of the dealership that hold a special place in his heart. For Craig, efforts like the annual Rides to Remember event, helping to fight childhood cancer, set Maserati of Atlanta apart from every other automotive dealer.
